Nurses in Medical Sales Jobs - Pharmaceutical Sales Jobs

During my fourteen years of pharmaceutical career, I have met quite a few 'few nurses who wanted to leave nursing for other careers. They were tired of long hours of travel and having to work night shifts as well. Some were also tired of having to physically move patients around. A wound in the back do just that and had to take a medical leave for rehabilitation. There are also politicians involved in the hospitals that many nurses have grown tired of.

Some of these nurses asked me about the possibility of becoming drug in pharmaceutical sales representatives after being exposed to the sector, while in the hospital. Well it turns out that a move to a nursing career as a medical sales job is quite a natural. I met a lot of drug reps, some even under its direct management, which were in fact, a former nurse.

Nurses who want to become medical representatives have a lot of advantages compared to candidates who have never worked in the fields of health first. Nurses are already an expert in physiology, anatomy and typical medical environments such as hospitals work.

There are many benefits and advantages when working as a representative drug in the pharmaceutical sector. Salaries and bonuses could amount to six figures for high achievers and there is the use of a company car. Expense reports are also available for business enterprises fun. There are also travel opportunities that are paid by the company, like many sales meetings, conferences and doctors are often in pleasant places.

Being a pharmaceutical sales representative also means that there is a lot of freedom and independence, with the job as fixed working shifts are no longer the way for a representative drug. Even better is that for 95% of the time, there is no boss looking over your shoulder while at work.

Although nursing has its fruits from the time that the job involves helping patients, being a representative drug may also have the similar satisfaction. The field involves collaboration with medical professionals to bring them useful products that will greatly benefit their patients. Thus, although there is a change of career, nurses who end up being drug reps with pharmaceutical sales forces can still be considered as part of the global team of health care as they play an important role in helping patients .......
