Four Treasure Hunting Secrets

Treasure hunt means different things to different treasure hunters. But the bottom line of all kinds and is looking for something valuable that is hidden from the public. Here are four secrets of the most unusual treasure hunting success.

Snow Dump Treasures

Many shopping centers in the north have an area where you dump all the snow that is removed from the car park. When the snow was removed, so all things fell into it, ranging from coins to rings and sometimes currency. So this is all concentrated in a small area once the dump of snow melts in spring.

Treasure hunters are aware of this for a while '. I found the idea when I walked past a pile of melting snow in a Walmart parking lot and saw a necklace and five coins on the sidewalk to the edge of the snow. City snow dumps are another place you can look into.

Real Estate Auctions

Some of the people to a real estate auction may not be offered for the items you see, but what is inside of them. In the past it was common for people to store currency in their books (which is still done today by some). When the person dies, no one is likely aware that there is money in those books. A relative of mine has found thousands of dollars in books of a family member left.

If a hunter comes to examine the auction items in advance, you can check out a couple of books, and any other factors which may contain money or valuables hidden. If you find a few bills or items of value, you can then bid on lots containing these elements, as the collection of books - which is often sold as a whole. Who knows how many more bills will be discovered once it passes through all the books you have purchased.

Housing Auctions

If the fee is not paid, the contents of containers are auctioned. Sometimes individual items are auctioned, but is more common to auction the entire contents of one unit at a time, or divided into several "lots" and auction each group of objects. You are generally allowed to remove items before the auction.

I met a man who did just that and discovered that an old milk can in a lot was full of change. He bought the lot that included milk can for $ 10, and I found some items sold, as well as $ 75 in change! He told me he regularly found "treasure" in this way.

Treasure Hunting in the hotel rooms

If you stay in a lot of hotel rooms, it may interest you to know that the treasure hunters, and owners of hotels and room cleaning, the report that money is sometimes hidden in the Bibles in the rooms. The money is probably forgotten by the customer. Check out the Bibles and other books in hotel rooms to stay in.

Hotel owners also report finding wedding rings men hidden in the rooms, especially in hotels that cater to business travelers. Perhaps men are taking off and hiding their rings before leaving for the evening deserve to lose. In any case, this is another interesting way to go treasure hunting. Just look at any place a ring may be hidden .......
