The 5 critical success Brakes

Through self-help books and overcoming know that one of the most important secrets of success is the positive mental attitude. This is only possible, enjoying a good self-esteem and self-knowledge of a powerful personal.

There are people with great natural self, while others are unable to understand themselves. For this latter group, there are a series of exercises that will help them know themselves.

Soon discover that we have two parties in this self-discipline, one that will help us and other ballasted us. It is interesting to know the 5 tools of self-sabotage our party staff used to stop to change our evolution.

Cynicism:

A cynical person is inclined to ask about the goodness and worth of all. And since nothing in life is perfect, the cynic can always find fault in everything. Once found, the defect is extended until then it overshadows everything else. The cynic is a genius indicating why a particular plan, idea or choice is not good and will not work.

Negative:

It has been said that "if you could give the person who is responsible for most of your problems kicked in the back, then you would not be able to sit in a month." When you change your party use this strategy to divert you from your goal, you'll find yourself saying things like, "Why bother?"

Thus, in essence, you create your attitude and behavior so you tell yourself. Spend the day telling yourself that anything will not work and, guess what, that does not work. What surprised you?

Defeatism:

Using defeatism, try to trick you by saying things like, "maybe that's good, but probably will not work for me," "I'm not smart enough to understand these things," "I'm too old." In other words, trying to convince yourself that the defect is within you, that, somehow, lack the ability to turn anything into reality.

To do this, try to drown your enthusiasm stating all your perceived shortcomings, and then use them to drive you to autofracaso. Use any perceived failure to dig feelings and insecurity and low self-esteem that will lead of course to surrender.

Avoidance:

This brake will try to deviate from the exercise of the day, especially if the exercise in question involves some kind of self-analysis. You will be seduced to any other activity that will provide an escape. And since we still lack self-discipline, this system is often used masterfully to avoid success.

Postponement:

Often this tactic is often used as a logical reason to "do it later." It basically consists of a barrier put (more or less imaginary) between you and your goal. It is absolutely true that sometimes, the responsibilities do not allow us to devote all the time you wish. The solution is to set priorities, and certainly, I think acquiring self-discipline should be a top priority.

Oddly enough, it is natural to use techniques of self-sabotage against ourselves, that is the reason why many people with low levels of self-discipline are unable to achieve objectives which, in others, they seem simple and natural. The only defense against this is to understand on a conscious level and strive to overcome these "brakes" that limit us.
