What is to blame?
Guilt was a kind of pay they received in exchange for an error, undesirable behavior, we made. Guilt helps us not fall back on our mistakes, not repeat them more.
It must be admitted that this theory may be interesting, we can even accept that it is well built from an intellectual standpoint. But let's face it, he has served ever feel guilty for something? What has caused you the feeling of guilt? Does it just how he felt when he saw that he was guilty?
These theories retributivists (so named because the claim that every action has its reward, in our case the misconduct = fault) have not proved useful. Unlike generating blame people have created in them fear, insecurity, low self esteem, authentic neurosis. And then his defenders, imbued with some kind of unearthly intuition has seen these results and have remained so calm and continued to roll with the same mind.
So let's do something, let's standing, they do it seriously, raise your right hand and say goodbye to guilt. Did he? Come to what is expected! Now, as follow.
Now that I see no fault that we put in place. It is true that you and I and all, we were wrong we have done things that were not right, as humans we make mistakes.
What do you do when you make mistakes? What have you done in this life to correct their mistakes? Do not tell me to feel guilty, that is over, we saw that does not work and we have banished the fault of our lives. Think some more! What were you doing when he made mistakes? ... If, indeed, has hit the nail, making mistakes, practiced more and more to find the solution.
Can not remember what I'm talking about? Look was when we went to the College, for example in math, physics or in or on the tongue. They made hundreds of mistakes, the problems of mathematics, physical exercises in dictation, in the grammatical analysis. Are we felt guilty? Absolutely not! Our teachers were teaching professionals, they knew that to learn no mistake and based on repetition and continued progress could be improved. They knew that we had not come into this world taught, that every idea, every concept that we needed his time outlining his rest, its repetition, so that they could assimilate. So stimulated in us the desire to learn, the desire to progress, the desire to improve.
If so can someone explain why in other issues instead of practicing we spoke of guilt? If professionals have a clear method that worked, why those fans who entered our lives in guilt, were not rejected by the educational community and sent to study, which was badly needed them.
So now, as a tribute to our teachers and our personal development, take a paper, write the 3 or 4 issues previously made him feel guilty, and next to each, or below as desired, type that is exactly what You did not do well, then set a plan to learn, to change that behavior, to overcome, and put into practice.
And please do not forget to smile, his life is changing and it is better.
